The First Ten Years bir asrı aşkın süredir küresel haber ajansı olan Anadolu Ajansı tarafından düzenlenen uluslararası haber fotoğrafı yarışması İstanbul Photo Awards un son on yılının en çarpıcı karelerini bir araya getiriyor Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı TİKA tarafından desteklenen bu özel sayıda 2015 2024 yılları arasında yarışmada ödül alan ve finale kalan fotoğrafların yanı sıra jüri değerlendirmeleri de yer alıyor İlk yılından itibaren dünyanın dört bir yanından 18 000 den fazla foto muhabirinin 125 000 den fazla fotoğrafla katıldığı İstanbul Photo Awards küresel olayları ve insani açıdan derin önem taşıyan anları yakalayan etkili fotoğrafların sergilendiği önemli bir platform hâline gelmiştir Yarışma her yıl savaş protestolar doğal afetler spor etkinlikleri ve günlük yaşam gibi konuları kapsayan görüntülerin ardındaki güçlü hikâyeleri öne çıkarıyor Kitapta her kategoriden ilk üçe giren fotoğrafların yanı sıra fotoğrafların arkasındaki hikâyelere ilişkin bilgiler de yer alıyor Ayrıca finalistlerin fotoğrafları da sunularak okuyuculara yarışmanın farklı ve ilgi çekici katılımları hakkında daha geniş bir perspektif sunuluyor İnsan deneyiminin özünü yakalamada foto muhabirliğinin gücüne bir övgü niteliğindeki The First Ten Years okuyuculara son on yılın en unutulmaz ve dokunaklı görüntülerinden bazılarına samimi bir bakış sunuyor
