Isabelle de Borchgrave Belçika Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi ni bitirdikten sonra kendi atölyesini kurdu Rita Brown da Londra da kostüm tasarımı tarihi ve desen okudu Otuz yıl boyunca Ontario Shaw Theatre da tiyatro kostümcüsü olarak çalıştı Borchgrave ve Brown ın işbirliği moda tarihine dayalı projeler üzerine yoğunlaştı Isabelle favorisi olan kağıdı boyayıp katlayarak buruşturarak moda tarihinin göz alıcı kumaşlarının kağıttan kopyalarını yapmaya başladı Bu sergide Isabelle de Borchgrave kağıdı olağanüstü bir ustalıkla kullanarak tarihi günümü elbiselerini tanıtmaktadır Isabelle de Borchgrave a Belgian painter and designer established her studio in Brussels where she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Rita who collaborates with Isabelle studied costume design history and design in London For thirty years she has worked as a theatrical costumier mainly with the Shaw Festival Theatre in Ontario Isabelle s scene on paper gives a superb reflection of the infinite variety of shape and form to be found throughout the history of textiles She presents us in this exhibition with three dimentional work of exceptional quality on the understanding of historic materials and modern day shapes and forms
