Şahin DündarThe fact that elementary school teachers teach many different school subje cts is one of the important characteristics that distinguish them from subject teachers This aspect of elementary school teaching has been a research topic that has attracted the attention of educational researchers This resear ch topic has also attracted my interest and curiosity as a graduate of an ele mentary school teacher education program and as an academic who previ ously worked as an elementary school teacher This book is the result of rese arch conducted with such interest and curiosity This book presents a study on the willingness to teach and the perception of teaching difficulty among pre service elementary school teachers in relation to four school subjects mathematics science social studies and Turkish I hope that it will be especially useful for researchers in the field of elementary school teacher education and for any individuals with an interest in this field
