ROISDER participated in the 59th Congress of the Federal Union of European Nationalities FUEN held in Flensburg Germany from May 7 11 2014 ROISDER s FUEN membership was approved at this congress As is known FUEN operates as a non governmental organization in Europe protecting the rights of national minorities It represents a population of 100 million under the motto You Are Not Alone To put it briefly in addition to its activities in Turkey ROISDER has been working to draw public attention to the issues related to the Turks living in Rhodes and Kos on the international arena Since 2014 it has been presenting the problems of island Turks to institutions such as the United Nations the Council of Europe the Federal Union of European Nationalities and the Organization for Security and Co operation in Europe In this regard ROISDERs contributions to the book Studies on the Turkishness of Rhodes and Kos in the International Arena are presented in detail The book contains the following sections United Nations Studies Turks of Rhodes and Kos in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Studies of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Studies of the Organization for Security and Co operation in Europe Studies of the Federal Union of European Nationalities Studies of the Working Group on Turkish Minorities of the Federal Union of European Nationalities and Letters from Abroad ROİSDER Rodos ve İstanköy sorunları konusunda bir bilinci oluşturulması için uluslararası arenada da etkinlikler yapmaktır Bu bağlamda Birleşmiş Milletler BM Avrupa Güvenlik ve İşbirliği Teşkilatı AGİT Avrupa Konseyi AK ve Avrupa Milletleri Federal Birliği FUEN gibi uluslararası örgütlerde çalışmalar düzenlemekte ve yayınlar yapmaktadır Uluslararası Arenada Rodos ve İstanköy Türklüğü Çalışmaları kitabımız da 2013 yılından bu yana yukarıda anılan kurum ve özgütlerde ROİSDER in yapmakta olan çalışmaları yanı sıra ilgililere kaleme alınan mektupları içermektedir Bu kitabımızla özellikle uluslararası arenada da Rodos ve İstanköy de yaşamakta olan Türklerin varlığını kanıtlama ve sorunlarına çözüm yolları bulma doğrultusunda bilincin oluşturulmasına katkıda bulunacaktır
