Murat Aydemir in hazırladığı Türk Müziği Makam Rehberi nde 60 Türk müziği makamı işleniyor Türk Müziği Makam Rehberi kitabım öğrencilik yıllarımdan bu yana tuttuğum müzik günlüğümden doğmuştur Müzik günlüğüme yıllarca önce nazariyatını öğrendiğim daha sonra usta sazendelerin taksimlerini dinleyerek kendim için oluşturduğum kısa makam tarifleri yazdım 1989 yılından beri mensubu olduğum İstanbul Devlet Klasik Türk Müziği Korosu nda geçtiğimiz klasik takımları aynı mantıkla inceleyip eserlerde kullanılan şekliyle makam tarifleri yazmaya devam ettim Ben bir nazariyatçı değilim Çaldığım tanbur sazının ve icra etmeye gayret ettiğim müziğin icabı makamları bilmem ve bu makamlarda doğaçlama yapmam elbete zaruri Ancak ben bu zarureti biraz da zevke çevirip daha çok makam öğrenmek istedim Zira her müzisyenin makamları kendi idrak seviyesi ve müziğe bakışı doğrultusunda yeniden keşfetmesi gerektiğini düşünüyorum Kitapta 60 Türk müziği makamı işleniyor Sayının özel bir sebebi yok Sadece bir sınır koymak ve ucu bucağı olmayan makam denizinde kaybolmamak için bir sayı belirledim Çeşnileri ve makamın ruhunu yansıtan seyir hareketini didaktik tanbur taksimleriyle gösterdim Makamı en iyi ifade ettiğine inandığım eserlerden bölümler seçtim ve icra ettim Taksimleri zamana göre eserleri ölçü sayısına göre analiz ettim Erman Dirikcan da bu analizlerin doğrultusunda icranın kolay takip edilmesini sağlayacak bir nota şablonu geliştirdi Murat Aydemir İlk kez 2010 İstanbul Avrupa Kültür Başkenti kültür projeleri kapsamında Turkish Music Makam Guide adıyla İngilizce yayımlanan kitap gördüğü büyük ilgi üzerine Türkçe olarak yayıma hazırlandı
